The new SXTsq 5 ax — MikroTik’s first outdoor CPE device with Wi-Fi 6 support — combines cutting-edge wireless technology with the proven and compact SXTsq design. Despite the upgrade to Wi-Fi 6 and a modern dual-core processor based on the ARM architecture, this unit retains the same price level as the previous Wi-Fi 5 model — making it one of the most cost-effective rugged CPE devices on the market. The housing is built to withstand all weather conditions and offers three different mounting options on the back, including support for horizontal rail mounting. Thanks to the RouterOS L4 license, the unit can also be configured as an access point.

The device features a dual-polarized antenna with a gain of 16 dBi and, thanks to its Wi-Fi 6 radio module, it reaches a maximum modulation rate of up to 1200 Mbps. Network connectivity is provided via 1× Gigabit Ethernet port, which also supports passive PoE input in the range of 12–28 V. The unit's maximum power consumption is 6 W.
