The MEAN WELL DRS-480-24 is an industrial power supply with UPS functionality, featuring a 24V output voltage and 480W of power. A backup battery with a capacity of 20 to 200 Ah can be connected, which the unit charges with a maximum current of 15.4 A.

The DRS-480 series includes AC/DC DIN rail power supplies with 480W output and built-in UPS functionality. In addition to the main output, it features an independent charging circuit that automatically adjusts the charging current based on the load of the main output. The DRS-480 supports a universal input voltage range of 90 VAC to 305 VAC and 127–431 VDC. Thanks to its high efficiency of up to 92.5%, it can operate with natural air convection in ambient temperatures from -30°C to 70°C.

In addition to key protection features such as overload protection, overvoltage protection, low battery disconnect, and reverse polarity protection, the DRS-480 also provides Form-C relay outputs and LED indicators for alarms including AC power failure, low battery voltage, charging circuit fault, and DC-OK status. This enables easy integration into security systems that comply with local alarm equipment standards.
