Product description

BTD 10G is a DUAL Full Outdoor and Full Duplex microwave link with transmission capacity up to 715 Mbps for the free 10,3 - 10,6 GHz band. The SUMMIT DEVELOPMENT dual radio technology uses two SW radios in one hardware (from the Ethernet port, both radios are viewed as one radio!). Compared to the classical 10 GHz PtP technology, BTD allows the transfer of double capacity and offers longer radio distance. In addition, one of these SW radios can be turned off at any time. The configuration settings of the radio allow much more variable use of the frequency band when compared to traditional radios.

Connectors and interfaces

The unit has very rich offer of connectors and interfaces. It has two Gigabit Ethernets, both supporting PoE IN using 802.3at. It also offers 2 optical SFP ports and a terminal block for direct powering via a DC cable using a DC voltage in range 20 up to 57V. In addition, the unit allows uninterrupted power switching between all power inputs. In addition to the grounding screw, there is a voltmeter aiming connector on the handle side. The unit can be aiming by management or by listening to acoustic signaling.
