Product description

A universal cabinet for data and telecommunications purposes. Its high load capacity makes it suitable for complex applications, and a wide selection of sizes, configurations, and accessories combined with excellent workmanship make it the best-selling free-standing cabinet in our offer.

High structural strength

The RMA features a robust welded frame. High-quality craftsmanship and the latest manufacturing technologies ensure a premium appearance. The uprights have a new, wider shape and are made from 1.3 mm thick material.

Flexible door opening

A custom hinge system allows the door to open up to 165°. The door can be easily removed and reinstalled to open from the opposite side. Double-leaf doors are fitted with snap-on hinges.

Glass

Steel doors with glued-in glass are made from 4 mm thick tempered safety glass, resistant to common impacts. In the event of breakage, it shatters into small fragments similar to automotive glass. For safety reasons, we recommend closing the door after installing equipment to prevent collisions with other objects. The glass is tested in a certified laboratory and complies with the ČSN EN 12150-1+A standard: Glass in building – Thermally toughened soda lime silicate safety glass. The tested glass meets the fragmentation standard upon breakage, Certificate of Conformity CQ-24-2023, Test Report IKATES 58A-2024.

Tritón handles

We manufacture our own handles for free-standing cabinets. By replacing the plastic module (not included), it is possible to install a semi-cylinder lock insert (optional accessory). Patent: PUV 2013-27443.

Adjustable vertical rails

The 19" vertical rails can be smoothly adjusted to any depth within the cabinet, simplifying device installation and cable management.

Removable side and rear panels

The RMA cabinet has a welded frame with removable side panels and a rear cover. Locks are mounted to the frame and come with a unified key by default.

Doors for ventilation units

This cabinet type allows the option to order special steel doors prepared for installing RAx-CH-X0x-X3 ventilation units. More information can be found in the Active Cooling section.

Knockout panels

The cable entries are covered with knockout panels. To prevent dust ingress, cables can be sealed using a brush-type panel. Edge trim is included to protect cables from damage (both included with the cabinet).

Opening for ventilation unit

A large knockout-covered opening allows external installation and removal of a Tritón ventilation unit without the need for screws.

Rear side of the cabinet

The rear panel of the cabinet includes two cable entries covered with knockout panels – one at the top edge and one at the bottom. Additional entries are located on the top and base of the cabinet.

Frame perforation

RMA cabinets feature a perforated frame to provide airflow to installed equipment. Cooling can be enhanced with ventilation unit installation.

Equipotential bonding

All removable parts are bonded together in compliance with the relevant standards.

Central pair of vertical rails

For cabinets deeper than 800 mm, a third pair of vertical mounting rails is included as standard. Their open profile does not obstruct the installation of deeper devices. Shorter equipment can be mounted to the center rails using various types of brackets (optional accessories).

Flex frame

The system enables installation of sliding rails at 19", 21", or 23" widths in 800 mm wide cabinets. Alternatively, the 19" spacing can be shifted to one side, creating additional space on the other side.

Accessory mounting in uprights

The uprights feature mounting holes along their full height on the inner edges. These holes follow the unit spacing of the vertical rails and can be used for mounting certain types of accessories.
