Product description
LiteBeam 5AC-LR is a 2x2 MIMO client station of the AC series for the 5GHz band. Compared to the standard unit, it has a higher antenna gain of 26dBi , so it is suitable for longer distances. It achieves transfer speeds of up to 867 Mbps . The unit is compatible only with other airMAX AC products and is designed for outdoor use with the best price / performance ratio in the 5GHz band.
Inside LiteBeam is a powerful MIPS processor Atheros 74KC, which is seconded by 64MB of RAM. The network port supports 10/100/1000 Ethernet and can be used to power the unit with a passive Gigabit PoE 24V adapter, which is included in the package (active PoE according to 802.3af is not supported).
LiteBeam 5AC-LR combines proprietary hardware and software technologies into an affordable device. Benefits include InnerFeed technology, airMAX TDMA protocol, improved holder and built-in spirit level for very fast and correct deployment, as well as very compact dimensions to save on shipping costs.
Management via uMobile application
Technicians will certainly appreciate the newly included 2.4GHz WiFi interface, which is used for administration via mobile devices. The UMOBILE app for both Android and iOS is available.
New to all Gen2 products with airMAX ac protocol is the new airOS 8 operating system . This system plots in real time the constellation diagram and the SNR value.
