Product description
The UBNT AF60, airFiber 60 is the first 60GHz link from Ubiquiti. It is a Gigabit PTP 60GHz solution with a 5GHz back-up radio part for possible degraded conditions.
Equipment and Construction
AirFiber 60 is a very rugged unit with metal mount, a 38dBi antenna (only 11dBi at 5GHz) and 3 plastic feet holding a radiator that includes a 60GHz main radio and a 5GHz back-up radio part and Gigabit Ethernet port with 24V passive PoE.
The 60GHz radio part has a maximum modulation rate 4.6 Gbps at 16QAM modulation. The back-up 5GHz link is solved by using 2x2 MIMO integrated airMAX AC radios with a maximum modulation speed 866 Mbps.
