PoE switche slouží ke zjednodušení infrastruktury - k nahrazení jednotlivých PoE injektorů za jediné zařízení. Při koupi PoE switche je třeba brát zřetel na celkový PoE budget, tzn. výkon, který switch dokáže poskytnout pro napájení připojených zařízení, počet PoE portů, rychlost portů (Gigabit, 100Mbit) a normy, pomocí kterých switch koncové prvky umí napájet (pasivní vs. aktivní). Při výběru switche je nutné vědět, které prvky chcete napájet a podle toho najít odpovídající switch. V naší nabídce naleznete switche s pasivním výstupem 24V a 48V nebo aktivním výstupem 802.3af a 802.3at a jejich kombinacemi. Novinkou poslední doby je PoE na vzdálenost až 250m (standartně lze napájet pouze do vzdálenosti 100m), čímž se docílí vyšším napětím 48V+ (802.3af/at) a ponížením ethernetového linku na 10Mbps. Zařízení takto napájená jsou zpravidla kamery, u kterých se nepředpokládá vyšší datový tok.
