Product description

Wi-Tek WI-PS206S (V2) is an unmanaged PoE switch with (6) 100 Mbps ports in a combination of (2) UP-link ports and (4) PoE-OUT ports. The first PoE-OUT port supports Hi-PoE technology, allowing it to power devices with up to 60 W per port, while the remaining three PoE-OUT ports provide 802.3af/at PoE up to 30 W per port. The total PoE budget is 60 W. The switch is ideal for applications where you need to connect and power devices such as IP cameras including PTZ, or IP phones.

DIP Switch for Mode Selection

The DIP switch on the front panel allows you to select modes to adapt the switch to the needs of your network:

• 1. VLAN: port isolation – PoE ports can send data only to the up-link port.
• 2. PD Alive: PoE watchdog capable of detecting and restarting unresponsive PoE-powered devices.
• 3. Extend: PoE transmission distance can reach up to 250 m when the link speed is reduced to 10 Mbps.
